Summer Sledge Track
Summer Sledge Track, situated by the upper station
of the cable railway, was built and launched in 1997. It winds its serpentine
way of the length of 710m along nine turnings and has about 50m of difference
in levels. The maximum speed of the ride is 30 km/h.
The speed of the ride is controlled by the rider with the use of a brake and
is additionally limited by the centrifugal brake which works automatically.
The sledges are taken back to the starting place by the ski lift over the 200m-long
track of guided ride.
Children under the age of eight can use the slide only when assisted by an adult.
The ride on the track is completely safe provided that you respect the track
usage rules, information signs and the instructions of the staff.
Guarded car park
The Cable Railway has got a guarded car park for 180 cars, open during the
working hours of the ski lifts.The car park site is fenced. The entrance and
the exit are guarded by qualified personnel as well as such devices as barriers
and spikes. Additionally the car park is monitored, which allows to maximally
protect the property being left there.
Guest rooms
The Cable Railway offers also guest rooms to rent. The rooms at your service
are well equipped and can house from 1 to 8 people.
Canoe pond
Canoe pond is the next offer of a leisure time activity In Ustroń. People
who prefer an active way of resting, but also people who are less active may
spend here many nice moments with friends and families. Additional attraction
are fountains. It’s also possible to buy there cold drinks and ice-creams.
The Caone Pond is a monumental structure, which occupies 6000 square metres.
It’s been renovated and equipped with modern sailing equipment such as: 6 water
bikes, 3 canoes and a boat.
